![]() It also has green illuminated notch-and-post style ironsights.Īn ornately-decorated Matchlock Pistol with a left-handed hammer (but a right-side mainspring) appears as the "Dragon" component of the Zombies mode specialist weapon "Viper and Dragon" (the "Viper" being a multi-segmented whip-sword) it is referred to as a "hand cannon" in its description, and fires (fittingly enough) a Dragon's Breath-esque burst of flames with each shot. ![]() It has a stainless steel custom M1911-style 3-hole trigger and, as the name suggests, it is chambered in. Like the "KAP-40" but unlike the TDI Kard, the "KAP 45" is a fully-automatic machine pistol. The "KAP 45" is a pistol added with the "Barbarians" event, based on the TDI Kard, and an in-universe successor to the "KAP-40" from Black Ops II. 4 Submachine Guns / Pistol-Caliber Carbines. And far to many of the crew-containing parts lack hatches and can't take re-entry, making numerous rescue missions more complicated than they need to be. You might not notice you need to extend a drill in the VAB to change its possible configurations to what you need. The cargo crates have a good 27 configurations. Sure it lets you change the purpose of a part on another world, but it also means you might not see it under the Advanced tab for a given resource it could hold. The ability to reconfigure a part is problematic. The mod has been through different versions, so data on the mod's wiki can be out of date and inaccurate. But it also combines what were once very different mods, and it shows in a bad way. Support for an interesting life support system. There are a lot of things to like about it-numerous resources to mine and manage. Parts that only exist to work with other mods usually don't appear when those other mods aren't in use, making it a tidy experience. Kerbal Planetary Base Systems is a fine parts pack that works with several other mods-life support and otherwise. Hope you didn't get too bored reading this. Version doesn't matter as long as it's from one of your mods or is built for your current KSP version. I do think KPBS comes with Module Manager, or if it doesn't then some mod I just mentioned should. As for KIS, it is an independent mod as of version idk, but it goes well with KAS. Of course, you can just do what you feel like. I feel like you should maybe use KPBS in the stock system (because that's what comes to mind when I think of it) and maybe USI for a planet pack (again, that's what comes to my mind when I think of USI). However, if you do decide to use KPBS and USI, I want to let you know that it should have more support for that than USI does for TAC. ![]() If you choose, say, KPBS, it would make sense to go with TAC because the two do have support for each other. KPBS features a cool-looking base system and the IVAs are great. USI, though, has more realistic-looking parts and I can't help but think of some Mars base. Anyways, KPBS or USI do not depend on life support, and you can cross TAC with USI or USI/LS with KPBS. A mix between the two would be kerbalism, which has all those features and more. However, TAC only has Oxygen, Food, and Water, while USI/LS has supplies and habitation for life support. USI/LS, on the other hand, is meant to go with USI. TAC is compatible with KPBS, and has some support. Personally, I use TAC and KPBS, but I really have no favorite.
